WINDOW SIZES AND STYLE
You do not need experience to measure and select the most appropriate type of window for each space.
With a tape measure, first measure the width of the window and then the height. Write it in linear feet like this:
WIDTH: _____ + HEIGHT: ______”= PU: _____
This last value is multiplied by $ 5.5 and will give you the total of your window including (custom window, materials, installation, guarantees and taxes)
Example: 48 “+ 48” = 96 inches joined.

Typically if the window is wider than it is high it should slide down its lane.
If the window is taller than it is wide, it must go up its side rail.
